日本留学試験(EJU)の受験
日本留学試験とは
日本留学試験は、外国人留学生として、日本の大学(学部)等に入学を希望する者について、 日本の大学等で必要とする日本語力及び基礎学力の評価を行うことを目的に実施する試験です。
試験は年に2回。6月に実施される試験の出願は同年2月~3月、11月実施の試験は7月に出願。
日本国内15か所程度で実施されるほか、アジアを中心に14か国で実施。

体育専門学群で必要な試験科目は、「日本語」「数学(1 または 2)」「総合科目または理科」の 3 科目。
受験できる基準は、上記の科目の合計得点が、平均点以上であること。
→試験から約1か月後から成績が通知される。出願する前年の試験を受ける

Basic Admission Requirements
- Persons who possess a nationality other than Japanese
- Persons who will be 18 years of age or older by the end of the same fiscal year in which he or she will take the admission test
- Persons who have one of the qualifications below:
- Persons who have completed or are expected to complete a 12-year curriculum of formal school education by the end of the same fiscal year in which he or she will take the admission test
- Persons who hold or are expected to hold an International Baccalaureate
- Persons who hold or are expected to hold an Abitur (Germany)
- Persons who hold or are expected to hold a Baccalauréat (France)
- Persons who hold or are expected to hold a GCE A-Level (United Kingdom)
- Persons who have completed a 12-year curriculum at a school accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), CIS (Council of International Schools), or ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) by the end of the same fiscal year
Taking TOEFL®
TOEFL tests are held periodically. For more information such as test sites and test schedules, please refer to the ETS official website.

Taking the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
What is EJU?
The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) is used to evaluate whether international students who wish to study at the undergraduate level at universities or other such higher educational institutions in Japan possess the Japanese language skills and the basic academic abilities needed to study at those institutions.
The examination is offered twice a year. Application periods for the examination in June is from February to March and for the examination in November is from the beginning of July to the end of July. There are fifteen examination sites in Japan and fourteen sites outside of Japan (mainly in Asia).

In the School of Physical Education, Health and Sport Science, all applicants are required to take three subjects: “Japanese”, “Mathematics (I or II)” and “General Subjects or Science (Physics, Chemistry or Biology)”.
In order to apply, your score must be the same or higher than the EJU test takers’ average score of the total points of these three subjects.
→You will receive the test result about a month later. You are required to take EJU in the previous year of application.
